So I had my fourth braces adjustment last week. Yay. I got new wires top & bottom. But he also removed the red bumps off my molars! So now I can close my mouth properly, and chew without the bumps. I am actually pretty shocked, I went back to eating normally after he took them off. I expected that I would find it all weird again, like I did when he first put them on! But it was all good. The bumps were on my molars to stop my top teeth hitting the braces on the bottom teeth. But now my bite has corrected enough. it’s excellent. Even with the bumps, my teeth would still touch the braces on the bottom teeth. But now my top teeth only sit about 1-2mm over the bottom ones and are about 3-4mm away from touching the bottom braces!

Thankfully, I didn’t have a lot of pain this time. A bit sore for a couple of days but then it was all good! The orthodontist said I will be getting my final wire for my top teeth at my next adjustment on September 1! They also said it will be a longer appointment, so I am not really sure what happens there, but it is very exciting!
